This league no longer allows conditional draft picks for players rights. (I understand that there are other conditional draft picks that may be fine) But any conditional draft pick that relies on a player signings with the team trading their draft pick is no longer acceptable. We believe that there needs to be something permanent going both ways in trades. In the real NHL, you trade for a players rights, and don't sign him, that's tough luck and that was the risk. Sometime the risk pays off, sometimes it bites you in the ass. Here is an example: To: 2nd round pick (conditional that Edler signs with Boston) To: Rights to Alex Edler 88 TWD Trades like this will be automatically rejected. Thanks Jackets
